Save with Self-Insurance

Employers can save with self-insurance over traditional workers' compensation insurance.

At the request of the Security Fund, Bickmore conducted a study comparing estimated workers’ compensation self-insurance versus insurance costs for a variety of employers who are currently self-insured in California.

California Self-Insurers' Security Fund presents the 2023 Informational Meeting!

Each year we host an informational member meeting about the Fund’s size and composition, financial strength, assessment, default/claim activity, etc. All members are invited and encouraged to attend. This year's informational member meeting was held on May 15, 2023 at the Disneyland Hotel in the Monorail Room.
